Hindjou dismisses allegations of land being sold to Germany

OKAHANDJA, 15 OCT (NAMPA) - Okahandja Mayor Johannes Hindjou has dismissed allegations that the town council sold land to German investors, after the town’s residents staged a demonstration over the matter recently.
The residents alleged that despite a moratorium on land sales put in place in August 2015 due to irregular land transactions by the town’s local authority, council went ahead and sold the land.
