National Policy on mining and prospecting in protected areas launched

LÜDERITZ, 17 NOV (NAMPA) - Minister of Environment and Tourism, Pohamba Shifeta and Deputy Minister of Mines and Energy, Kornelia Shilunga, on Friday launched the National Policy on mining and prospecting in protected areas in Lüderitz.

The policy is an initiative of the Ministry of Environment and Tourism (MET) and is cosigned by the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME).
