Ten-year-old dies in accident allegedly involving police officer at Khorixas

KHORIXAS, 14 DEC (NAMPA) - A 10-year-old girl died at Khorixas on Thursday after she was allegedly run over by a police officer who was driving under the influence of alcohol and without a driver’s licence.
Namibian Police Force spokesperson, Chief Inspector Kauna Shikwambi, told Nampa upon enquiry the female police officer was off duty when the accident occurred around 14h45 near the main road.
