MoEAC records 1 500 teenage pregnancies annually: Nghipondoka

WINDHOEK, 14 FEB (NAMPA) - The Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture on an annual basis records over 1 500 pregnancies amongst school-going girls, a trend which is worrisome, its Deputy Minister Anna Nghipondoka has said.
Nghipondoka, who revealed the statistics at the national launch of the ‘Let’s talk’ Campaign on Early and Unintended Pregnancy (EUP) here on Friday, said it is high time that Namibians openly talk about EUP holistically to effect change in the society.
