Ongwediva town council launches Mayoral Fund

ONGWEDIVA, 15 FEB (NAMPA) – Ongwediva Mayor, Angelina Angula on Thursday launched the town council’s first-ever mayoral fund aimed to assist vulnerable members of the community under the pillar “social progression” of the Harambee Prosperity Plan (HPP).
Speaking at the launch, chief executive officer of the town Damian Egumbo, said talks of the Ongwediva Mayoral Fund came a long way but a resolution was only passed last year for it to come into existence.
