Elect candidates based on character, Tjongarero tells Swapo members

KEETMANSHOOP, 16 FEB (NAMPA) – Swapo leader assigned to the ||Kharas Region, Agnes Tjongarero has urged party members to properly assess all candidates who are to run for the upcoming local authority and regional council elections.
Tjongarero, who was speaking at the party’s first regional executive meeting for the year here on Saturday, added that even though a candidate has met all requirements to run for the elections, members must elect them according to their character.
