Police recover body of drowned herder

OSHAKATI, 20 FEB (NAMPA) – The Namibian Police Force (NamPol) have confirmed that the body of a herder, who reportedly drowned in the Oniiwe river in the Okatyali Constituency on Sunday, has been recovered on Monday.
This followed a police divers’ search commenced at the river Monday morning.
Inspector Thomas Aiyambo of NamPol’s Community Affairs office in the Oshana Region confirmed the recovery to Nampa on Wednesday.
