WINDHOEK, 19 APR (NAMPA) – The City of Windhoek (CoW) said the permitted usage of borehole water is 20 per cent following the revelation that some industries have been disregarding operational protocols and relying exclusively on borehole water.
CoW in a press release on Friday said during the 2015/2016 drought, the City permitted industries to drill boreholes for additional water supply, ensuring business continuity and enabling an evaluation of groundwater potential in Windhoek’s northern areas.
