Man, 54, takes own life in Omusati

OSHAKATI, 24 APR (NAMPA) – A 54-year-old man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself with a rope at Olumpelengwa village in the Okahao Constituency in the Omusati Region.

The deceased was identified as Petrus Uukongo.

The Namibian Police Force’s Omusati Crime Investigations Coordinator, Moses Simaho, told Nampa on Wednesday that the incident occurred around 07h00 on Tuesday.
