Learner caught with cannabis at school in Ongwediva

OSHAKATI, 27 APR (NAMPA) – A 17-year-old learner from Ekwafo Senior Secondary School in Ongwediva was apprehended for possession of cannabis on Friday.
The Namibian Police Force crime investigations coordinator for the Oshana Region, Deputy Commissioner Fredrik Ndjadila confirmed this to Nampa on Friday, saying the suspect was caught around 10h00 on the school grounds.
“The suspect was searched and found with plastic bankies containing cannabis in his school bag,” he said.
