China, Namibia sign MoU on south-south cooperation
Written by Kambarure Kaputu on 22 January 2018.WINDHOEK, 22 JAN (NAMPA) – Namibia and China on Monday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the second phase of a South-South Cooperation (SSC) project on agriculture.
Phase one of the tripartite agreement, which involves the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO), commenced in 2015 and ended in 2017. It aimed to boost food security and focused on rice and maize production, gardening and animal husbandry.
