WINDHOEK, 25 APR (NAMPA) - Retired Chief Executive Officer of the National Council for Higher Education, Mocks Shivute has described the late Mvula Ya Nangolo as a critical thinker, a poet of distinction and historian.
The seasoned journalist and liberation struggle icon died Thursday morning at the age of 75.
Shivute worked with Ya Nangolo in Swapo’s department of information and publicity abroad and was Shivute’s editor at Namibia Today newspaper immediately after independence in 1990.
