WALVIS BAY, 26 SEP (NAMPA) - The Namibian Police Force and the Magistrate’s Court at Walvis Bay are tightening the screws on drunken driving as they prepare for the festive season.
Speaking to Nampa on Monday, Crime Investigations Coordinator, Deputy Commissioner Erastus Iikuyu said a joint traffic night operation started over the weekend, where eight drivers were arrested and charged between Friday and Saturday. Five more were arrested on Saturday and Sunday.
