Mentally challenged man killed in hospital

RUNDU, 13 NOV (NAMPA) – A 48-year-old man identified as Pontanius Hausiku, died in the psychiatric ward at the Rundu State Hospital after he was allegedly assaulted by two other patients from the ward.
All three patients were admitted and receiving treatment at the hospital, Namibian Police Force Kavango East Crime Investigations Coordinator, Deputy Commissioner Bonifatius Kanyetu said on Monday.
The incident happened on Sunday at around 02h30 and the police are still investigating what transpired, he said. ...
