Health Ministry confirms 31 cases of Hepatitis E

WINDHOEK, 16 JAN (NAMPA) – Thirty-one people have tested positive for the Hepatitis E Virus (HEV) so far, the Ministry of Health and Social Services announced on Tuesday.
The ministry’s Acting Permanent Secretary, Petronella Masabane said in a media statement the Havana informal settlement was the most affected by the outbreak of the virus, accounting for over 41 per cent of the cases.
