Aminuis farmers want tarred road fenced off

AMINUIS, 12 FEB (NAMPA) – Farmers living along the Gobabis-Aminuis road, which is being upgraded to bitumen standard, want the road cordoned off to avoid livestock losses.
The farmers, who spoke to Nampa in separate interviews on Sunday, said they are losing livestock daily to motorists who frequent the road.
They said the upgrading of the road has resulted in more people using the road, which is also frequented by livestock that cross the road for grazing.
