WINDHOEK, 13 MAR (NAMPA) – Veteran politician and former President of the Congress of Democrat’s (CoD) Ben Ulenga described the late Nora Schimming-Chase as an ardent liberation icon, who walked deep tracks and stood for the general good of Namibian women.
Schimming-Chase died in the early hours of Tuesday after a long battle with cancer. She was 77.
Speaking to Nampa Tuesday, Ulenga said women’s rights was a key component of what she stood for.
