Cyclist dies in bus collision outside Otavi

OTJIWARONGO, 19 MAR (NAMPA) – A 26-year-old male cyclist died on Saturday after he was hit by a passenger bus on the road between Otavi and Kombat in the Otjozondjupa Region.
The deceased has been identified as Erastus Arachab, who lived on a farm situated alongside the Otavi-Kombat road.
Spokesperson of the Namibian Police Force in the region, Warrant Officer Maureen Mbeha on Saturday confirmed that the incident happened around 15h45, some three kilometres north-east of Otavi.
