Illegal water connections worry Rundu Town Council

RUNDU, 23 MAR (NAMPA) – Illegal water connections in informal settlements at Rundu are a concern for the Rundu Town Council.
Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the council, Fransiska Thikerete told Nampa in an interview on Thursday, “this is a very serious matter”.
It is one of the factors contributing to water loss for the council, she said.
In August and September last year, the council conducted an audit to determine the number of illegal connections in informal settlements.
