Tourists narrowly escape robbery on Sossusvlei road

SWAKOPMUND, 17 SEP (NAMPA) – Two tourists narrowly escaped a robbery while driving to Sossusvlei on Sunday.
The police in the Erongo Region have now cautioned travellers using the same road to not stop under any circumstances.
According to a police report issued by Chief Inspector Daniel Gurirab of the Namibian Police Force in the Erongo Region on Monday, the German couple was driving to Sossusvlei from Walvis Bay in their rental car when a black sedan overtook them and blocked their vehicle.
