MET disturbed by elephant shooting
Written by Linea Dishena on 20 October 2018.WINDHOEK, 20 OCT (NAMPA) – The Ministry of Environment and Tourism (MET) has commissioned an investigation into a video circulating on social media involving two men shooting at a herd of elephants in a conservancy in the Zambezi Region.
In a media statement issued on Saturday, MET Chief Public Relations Officer, Romeo Muyunda said the two men, a professional hunter and a trophy hunter, conducted unethical hunting which is against the principles of conservation hunting in Namibia.
