Govt allegedly sets aside N.dollars 10 million to defend itself in Sardarov deal
Written by on 18 December 2018.WINDHOEK, 18 DEC (NAMPA) – The Namibian Government is alleged to have set aside N.dollars 10 million to pay six lawyers to defend the state being sued by the Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) for leasing four farms to Russian billionaire Rashid Sardarov.
It is alleged that the government wants to bring in two lawyers from Russia, two from South Africa and two from Namibia to defend it in court.
This is according to PDM Secretary-General Manuel Ngaringombe.
