Schimming-Chase, Nkandi quit NUST council

WINDHOEK, 18 JUN (NAMPA) – Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) council chairperson Esi Schimming-Chase and member Kondjeni Nkandi quit on Friday after a meeting with Higher Education Minister Dr Itah Kandjii-Murangi.
Secretary to the council Maurice Garde confirmed this to Nampa in an interview on Tuesday.
He however said there is no bad blood between Schimming-Chase and Kandjii-Murangi despite media reports to the contrary, nor Schimming-Chase and Nkandi as a result of the meeting.
