Thomas and Haitope win Nedbank City Dash

WINDHOEK, 23 JUN (NAMPA) – Reinhardt Thomas and Lavinia Haitope were on Sunday crowned champions of the Nedbank Namibia Windhoek City Dash that took place in Independence Avenue in the capital.
To be crowned champion in the elite men’s category Thomas beat Kefas Kondjashili and Shaliaxwe Jeremia who came second and third respectively.
Thomas was a comfortable winner, completing the 10-kilometre (km) course in an unofficial time of 29 minutes 30 seconds (29:30), more than 29 second ahead of Kondjashili.
