Ohangwena faces influx of livestock due to drought
Written by Mathias Nanghanda on 10 July 2019.EENHANA, 10 JUL (NAMPA) – The Ohangwena Region has been faced with severe influx of farmers from its neighbouring regions in search of grazing for their livestock as a result of the persistent drought situation.
Governor of the Ohangwena Region, Usko Nghaamwa said this in his 2019 State of the Region Address (SORA) delivered on his behalf at Eenhana on Tuesday.
According to Nghaamwa, the eastern part of the region is the most affected.
