Former Education Minister to hear pre-sentencing evidence Wednesday
Written by Simon Endjala on 23 July 2019.WINDHOEK, 23 JUL (NAMPA) – Presentations of the pre-sentencing evidence in the case of Minister of Education, Arts and Culture, Katrina Hanse-Himarwa, who was convicted of corruption earlier this month, will be heard in the High Court on Wednesday.
During the pre-sentencing evidence, both Deputy Prosecutor-General Ed Marondedze and the convicted minister's privately-instructed defence lawyer Sisa Namandje will address the court on the sentence to be handed down.
