WINDHOEK, 12 AUG (NAMPA) – Prime Minister Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila has criticised Namibian citizens who refuse to donate to drought relief, saying it assists households and helps to secure employment for people in the agricultural sector.
Speaking at the handing over of donations by various companies here on Monday, Kuugongelwa-Amadhila said drought relief funds are amongst others used to provide food and water to households and animals. It is also used for subsidies for farmers.
