WINDHOEK, 01 DEC (NAMPA) – Incumbent President Hage Geingob whose popularity waned by 31 per cent from the 87 per cent he received from the electorate five years ago, has admitted that this year’s Presidential election was a tough one.
The results announced by Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) Chairperson Advocate Notemba Tjipueja revealed that Geingob received 464 703 (56,3 per cent) of the possible 826 198 votes.
