Namibia committed to accelerating climate change response: Shifeta

WINDHOEK, 11 DEC (NAMPA) – Namibia is committed to playing its part in accelerating the response to climate change, Minister of Environment and Tourism Pohamba Shifeta has said.
In a statement delivered during the high level segment of the 25th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP 25) in Madrid, Spain on Tuesday, Shifeta said the country has a highly ambitious policy framework in place, including the National Climate Change Policy of 2011.
