TIKA gives food parcels to Namibian Islamic community ending Ramadan

WINDHOEK, 21 MAY (NAMPA) – The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) in Namibia on Wednesday donated 484 food parcels to the fasting Islamic community in the country.
The donation, valued at US.dollars 15 000 (N.dollars 275 850) consists of rice, cooking oil, maize meal, salt, sugar, tea, washing powder and soup packets.
It will be distributed from the Windhoek Islamic Centre (WIC) to the Katutura Al Hidayah, Keetmanshoop, Oshakati Rural and Osire Masjid mosques.
