De Lange and Vorster win first stage of Tour de Windhoek

WINDHOEK, 23 OCT (NAMPA) – Tristan de Lange and Michelle Vorster won the male and female categories of stage one of the Tour de Windhoek held on the Dordabis Road on Friday.
De Lange, who is cycling for Team Mannie Heymans, beat Team Hollard’s Drikus Coetzee in a photo finish at the completion of the 107km stage.
In the female category, Vorster dominated her competition, finishing nearly two minutes before the peloton.
