Hundreds flock to Neckartal Dam

NECKARTAL DAM, 18 JAN (NAMPA) – Hundreds of people from Keetmanshoop and surrounding areas flocked to the Neckartal Dam on Sunday, when the dam was opened for public viewing for the first time.
Neckartal Dam is located 80 kilometres south-west of Keetmanshoop in and is the largest dam in Namibia with a carrying capacity of about 857 million cubic metres - three times the size of Hardap Dam near Mariental in the Hardap Region.
