MEFT says elephants still in Katima

RUNDU, 13 JUN (NAMPA) – The Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism (MEFT) has cautioned people living in the town of Katima Mulilo in the Zambezi Region, to be cautious when moving at night due to the presence of elephants in the town.
The ministry’s public relations officer, Romeo Muyunda, in an interview with Nampa on Sunday for an update regarding the elephants observed in the vicinity of the town since Monday, said the animals were still around.
