BoN amends provisions in response to COVID-19-induced economic challenges

OPUWO, 22 OCT (NAMPA) – The Bank of Namibia has announced amendments to some key provisions of the Determination on Policy Changes in Response to Economic and Financial Stability Challenges to avoid the premature exit of relief measures.
BoN Governor Johannes !Gawaxab in a statement on Friday said the amendments are aimed to support households, SMEs and corporates as the country has not exited the COVID-19 pandemic yet.
