Girl (14) attacked and killed by crocodile at Thikanduko

RUNDU, 26 JAN (NAMPA) - A 14-year-old learner of Thikanduko Primary School in the Kavango East Region’s Mukwe Constituency was attacked and killed by a crocodile on Tuesday.
The Namibian Police Force’s Crime Investigations Coordinator for Kavango East, Deputy Commissioner Bonifatius Kanyetu, told Nampa the incident occurred at Thikanduko village around 15h00.
The girl had reportedly gone to the river with other learners from the school to get water to drink.
