Trainee doctor arrested for alleged rape of patient

WINDHOEK, 13 APR (NAMPA) – The Namibian Police on Tuesday arrested a health practitioner at the Katutura State Hospital accused of raping a patient.
This incident was confirmed by Deputy Commissioner Kauna Shikwambi, who said the suspect, a male trainee doctor, is expected to appear in the Windhoek Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday.
It is alleged that the suspect raped a male patient on Tuesday, she said.
