COVID-19: Namibia records 1 206 new cases, 32 deaths
Written by Elvi Haihambo on 16 June 2021.WINDHOEK, 16 JUN (NAMPA) - Minister of Health and Social Services Dr Kalumbi Shangula on Tuesday announced that Namibia recorded 1 206 new COVID-19 cases and 32 deaths, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 1 040.
The deaths involved 19 females and 13 males aged between 31 and 81 years. Nineteen of these deaths were recorded in the Windhoek district, seven in Keetmanshoop, two in Engela and one each in the Outapi, Otjiwarongo, Okakarara and Grootfontein districts respectively.
