RUNDU, 04 JUN (NAMPA) – The Namibian Police Force (NamPol) in the Kavango West Region removed 285 canoes from the Okavango River used by residents to illegally move between Angola and Namibia during stage two of the state of emergency instituted to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
NamPol Kavango West Commander, Commissioner Josephat Abel told Nampa on Wednesday that people used the canoes to cross between Angola and Namibia illegally.
