WINDHOEK, 01 DEC, (NAMPA) – The number of beds in intensive care units in Namibia’s public health sector has been increased to 76 from the four beds available for COVID-19 cases at the beginning of the pandemic, Health Minister Dr Kalumbi Shangula said on Monday.
Shangula made the announcement on Monday, during the COVID-19 response 20th briefing in Windhoek, saying the investment in health-related infrastructure was made as part of the COVID-19 preparedness and response.
