COVID-19: Namibia records 390 new cases, eight deaths

WINDHOEK, 18 JAN (NAMPA) - Minister of Health and Social Services, Dr Kalumbi Shangula, on Monday announced that Namibia has recorded 390 new COVID-19 cases and eight deaths.
Shangula, during the daily COVID-19 update, said the youngest case was 17 days old and the oldest, 98 years.
The total number of active cases stood at 2 962.
Of the eight deaths recorded, four were from the Oshakati district, two from the Windhoek district and one each from the Swakopmund and Rundu districts.
