Canada's GDP edges up in September

OTTAWA, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- Canada's real gross domestic product (GDP) edged up 0.1 percent in September, after remaining essentially unchanged in August, Statistics Canada said Friday. According to the national statistical agency, services-producing industries rose 0.2 percent in September, in large part driven by increases in the retail and wholesale trade sectors.
