Namibia to meet host Morocco in quarter-finals

CASABLANCA, 22 JAN (NAMPA) - The Brave Warriors will meet host nation, Morocco, in the quarter-finals of the Africa Nations Championship (Chan) here on Saturday after finishing as runners-up in Group B behind Zambia here Monday evening.
Namibia and Zambia both ended the group stage on seven points after a one-all draw, but Zambia won the group on a better goal difference and will now face Group A runners-up Sudan in the quarter-finals on Saturday.

China, Namibia sign MoU on south-south cooperation

WINDHOEK, 22 JAN (NAMPA) – Namibia and China on Monday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the second phase of a South-South Cooperation (SSC) project on agriculture.
Phase one of the tripartite agreement, which involves the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO), commenced in 2015 and ended in 2017. It aimed to boost food security and focused on rice and maize production, gardening and animal husbandry.
