Agriculture conference to go ahead amid coronavirus

WINDHOEK, 13 AUG (NAMPA) – Organisers of the Agriculture Conference aimed to revive the Namibian economy are optimistic that the event will go ahead as planned for next month, despite the threats posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
This follows the announcement by President Hage Geingob to revert the entire country to stage three of the state of emergency which limits social gatherings to 10 people only, including Windhoek which is the host of the event.
