The Namibia Press Agency, (NAMPA), was established in 1991 as a national news agency responsible for the distribution of local, regional and international news.

NAMPA Northern Regions Bureau

The NAMPA Regional Bureau for the Northern regions of Namibia is based at the town of Ongwediva in the Oshana Region, more than 700km north of Windhoek.

The office is located in Continental No. 2 Spar Ongwediva Complex, on the west side of the Ongwediva Town’s Mandume yaNdemufayo Road.

This Bureau is responsible for providing news on issues and events happening in the Northern regions of Oshana, Ohangwena, Omusati and part of the Oshikoto Region.
