KATIMA MULILO, 11 May 2026 - Health and Social Services Minister, Dr. Esperance Luvindao has acknowledged that for far too long the residents of the Zambezi Region living with kidney disease have faced daunting challenges forcing them to seek dialysis services outside the region or at private healthcare services placing an enormous financial and emotional burden on them. The minister made these remarks at the official inauguration ceremony of the dialysis unit at the Katima Mulilo District Hospital on Monday.
