Almost 23 000 people on HIV treatment in Oshikoto

OMUTHIYA, 28 MAR (NAMPA) – As of February 2024, a total of 22 970 people are on antiretroviral therapy (ART) for HIV treatment in the Oshikoto Region.
This was reported by Ministry of Health and Social Services representative, Saara Ndjimba at the Oshikoto regional AIDS coordination committee meeting held in Omuthiya on Wednesday.
She reported that a total of 15 326 females are on treatment compared to 7 644 males in the region.
