Namibia not affected by recall of Benylin: Nangombe

WINDHOEK, 17 APR (NAMPA) – Executive Director of the Ministry of Health and Social Services, Ben Nangombe has confirmed that Namibia has been spared from the affected batches of the Johnson & Johnson children’s cough syrup currently being recalled.
Nangombe on Wednesday here assured that with the ongoing international and regional recall of Benylin Paediatric Syrup due to high levels of diethylene glycol, such batches were not imported to Namibia.
