In recent years, as China has continued to optimize its visa-free policies and other measures to facilitate travel, "China Travel" has gained global popularity, while "China Cool" has emerged as a buzzword during the summer. Dazu Rock Carvings, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Dazu District of southwest China's Chongqing Municipality, have become a popular destination for international tourists. According to data from the local cultural and tourism department, the site received 134,000 inbound tourist visits in 2025, up 90.07 percent year on year.
