The two projects have generated more than 4 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity, according to China Huadian Corporation, the operator of the duo. The projects combine solar power generation, green hydrogen production, and energy storage into a single complex, an approach that helps address the intermittent nature of solar power and boost renewable energy use in desert areas.
