A fire breaks out following massive Russian ballistic missile strikes in the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv on August 5, 2026, amid the Russian invasion in Ukraine. Explosions rang out in Kyiv shortly after midnight local time on August 5, AFP reporters said, after the Ukrainian air force reported the approach of several ballistic missiles.
